If you are interested in joining our philanthropic nature and volunteering for some of our upcoming events, please click the Facebook link below. Our next event will be on Christmas Eve. We will be visiting senior citizens in Mountain Home by surprise and share with them our love we have for their contributions to our community. Information is found on this Facebook group known as the "Elmore & Ada County's "One-Stop Art Shop." We will be delivering food, beverages, conversations, and holiday spirit. Hopefully, we can do crafts and play games while improving their holiday sentiment.
A little more about the community action:
There are two parts to this group that cater to those in need. One purpose of this group is for small businesses and starving artists to be able to offer the public various forms of art, coupons, and promotions without being reported as spam. The second part of this group is for local business owners and citizens to unite in a form that complements events, raffles, and philanthropic programs like Justin Abel Art's community action. For instance, this Christmas Eve, we are getting together to give back to the senior citizens in nursing homes, retirement homes, and hospital beds.
This is also a group near you that will allow aspiring artists to post their artwork as portfolios & albums in hopes of selling their stuff in this group—any artwork will do! CRAFTS will work! Tattoos, piercings, cosmetics, cotton balls with eyes, candy bars, landscaping, you name it! Anything that you want to sell, you can sell here. The idea is that I want to make your artwork permissible and accessible for public viewing and for small businesses to be able to glean from others’ shareable experiences so they can grow. I’d like for this group to also act as a forum and blog for questions and answers regarding your small business.
